Since forests are one of the most exploited natural resources, there is an urgent need to implement tools that lead to responsible forest management that is environmentally adequate, beneficial to society, and economically feasible, ensuring the needs of the current generation without compromising the needs of future generations and ensuring the responsible use of forest-sourced raw materials in all the product processing steps until it reaches the end consumer.
