This European Standard specifies service quality requirements relating to the organization, processes, personnel and management of security service providers.
It establishes quality criteria for the provision of civil aviation security services required by public or private customers/buyers. It considers the selection, contracting, design and evaluation of the most appropriate civil aviation security service providers.
It even establishes a methodology for the selection and recruitment of personnel with a focus on training as a key element, addressing aspects such as basic and specialized training and the training of security supervisors in the workplace (initial and recurrent).
